Sea Buckthorn ‘Pollmix’ is a wonderful German male cultivar developed to be an effective pollinator for female plants. Its leaves can be used fresh or dried to make antioxidant rich tea.
Sea buckthorn is a fantastic choice for adding to a hedgerow thicket. They have roots with nitrogen fixing nodules, increasing available nitrogen in the soil for neighbouring plants unable to do so.

Drought resistant once established.
Soil
Prefers well draining soils but adaptable to many.
Light
Prefers full sun (over 8 hours a day).
Form
4 m tall and wide. Vigorous growth can be kept more compact with pruning.
Pollination
This cultivar can pollinate up to six female plants.
