Rhubarb ‘Canada Red’
Rhubarb ‘Canada Red’
Rheum x hybridum ‘Canada Red’
In stock
Rhubarb ‘Canada Red’ has wonderful harvests of bright red stalks that are very sweet! The stalks of ‘Canada Red’ have thinner skin and are less ‘stringy’ than other varieties.
Rhubarb is a fantastic plant for providing early season baking produce. Here at Nested, we look forward to the rhubarb harvest for making crumbles!
Notes: Rhubarb appreciates rich soil. To help encourage strong growth it is a great idea to add lots of compost when planting rhubarb and to top dress the soil with compost each Spring.
