Pink Champagne currants are one of the best currants for fresh eating! They have a floral, sweet and delicate flavour. The translucent pink fruit grows in clusters, making picking a breeze. The berries keep well in the fridge, lasting for a few weeks.
Pink Champagne currants are a cross between red and white currants. It is an Heirloom cultivar that was listed in a Long Island, New York nursery catalogue in the 1800’s.

Light | Prefers full sun (over 8 hours a day) but can be grown in partial shade. The fruit production will decrease with increased shade. |
