An essential species for pollinator gardens! Showy purple flowers are almost always abuzz with clusters of bees. Blooms show up from late summer onwards making this a fantastic plant for autumn cut flowers. Asters slowly spread by rhizomes and will form a nice clump after a few years in the garden.
