Mint is a low maintenance plant; but spreads vigorously if left to its own devices. For this reason, it’s best to grow mint in confined spaces such as a raised bed, pot or container. Mint can even be grown in a sunny window sill for fresh herbs straight from the kitchen. As you likely have guessed, this is the go to mint variety used for making Mojitos.
Notes: Mint benefits from regular pinching; so as you pick for culinary use be sure to pinch out to a leaf node to increase bushiness.

Prefers well draining soils but grows well in most soil types.

Prefers full sun to part shade. Still will grow quite well in mostly shade.
