Covered in highly scented, mauve flowers from mid summer to autumn, this herbaceous perennial is a bee and butterfly magnet. Deer and rabbits don’t have much interest in nibbling on it, but seed heads provide forage for birds from late autumn into winter. A wonderful plant for adding volume and visual interest!
