A striking perennial that makes an excellent focal plant. Pale yellow flowers sway in the wind on airy stems stretching up to 8 feet tall. Adored by bumblebees, each flower often has multiple visitors at a time! We like to use this stand out species to bring whimsical form and movement to meadow plantings without being overbearing.

Prefers moist soil. We have found it to be drought tolerant once established but your mileage may vary.
Soil
Prefers well draining soil that is rich in organic compost. Tolerant of a wide array of soil conditions including light and sandy soils as well as heavy clay soils.
Light
Prefers full sun. Also grows well in dappled shade.
