'Bloomquist Sweet' is a stunning bi-colour dahlia that adds a groovy pop to bouquets. The bees appreciate the ease of pollen access that the collarette form provides.
'Bloomquist Sweet' is the one known parent for these seeds. Pollinators have done the crossing by bringing pollen from other dahlias. Each seed produces a unique dahlia plant and tubers can be saved from each at the end of the first growing season.
Here at Nested we start our dahlia seeds 4 - 5 weeks prior to planting out. We watch for when the lilacs start to bloom as our signal for when to plant out our dahlia seedlings.
